the third day of our school trip we visited the Madame Tussauds.
Madame Tussauds was founded by the French wax artist Marie Tussaud, who refined her art during the French Revolution by making wax models of prominent personalities. After emigrating to Great Britain in 1802, she toured the country with her collection before opening a permanent exhibition in London in 1835. This exhibition quickly became a popular attraction that featured both historical figures and contemporary celebrities.
After we took the bus there, got off and had to go through a control, we were already inside.
We walked up many steps until we finally got there. First we walked over a red carpet and saw a picture with many paparazzi lights when finally the first wax figures were to be seen, we were thrilled and surprised how real the figures look. The first characters were Angelina Jolie, Harry Styles, Brad Pitt and Timothée Chalamet. After that came many famous singers such as Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, Rihanna and Ed Sheeran. After the singers came the Royal Family, which is known all over the world. You could see Harry and Meghan, Kate and William, Charles, Camilla and the Queen with her husband Philip. After that it went down a flight of stairs into a cellar, where you could see and trace the creation of the Madame Tussaud. In addition, it was built there as it was 2000-3000 years ago. After the spooky was over, you could look at a few more original clothes from celebrities. After that we went to a kind of small roller coaster, with which you made a time travel like it was in London 400 years ago. This ride was about 5 minutes. You learned a lot of new things and it was very nicely built. Then came the world of Marvel and we could watch a short 3-D movie, where once all superheroes saved the world. Then we could look at a few more Marvel wax figures. After this was over, only a souvenir shop came, where you could buy many beautiful souvenirs.
It was a very nice and fun experience, which we will remember for a long time.
